# Speaking: Input and Output (CHOLOS AUDIO INTRO SPEAKING)

## The base

The best way to understand English is listening and speaking, like a baby. Reading and writing come later.

The goal is to do it for forty minutes every day, which is what a native speaks.

English is learned by socializing and networking. Practice partners can also be contacts or friends.

## How to practice

Talking alone is like the punching bag for a boxer. First the form, then the fight.

Then come the dual conversations and the group conversation.

You should always practice alone.

## Recording

You always record every day, and more than once a day if you can. A day without recording sets you back 2-3 days, and a week, a month.

Don't re-record. I leave the audio with its errors, so I don't waste time, and in the next one those words come out better.

You always listen to yourself. Almost everyone forgets it.

## If you are in basic

10 minutes of reading and 10 minutes of questions and answers. Or five, it depends on the step in the IPC method.

Read it the way I think it sounds, and put the text in the Chrome extension to hear how the words are pronounced.

## If you are at the intermediate level

A monologue of 10 to 15 minutes, like a podcast, with the structure of intro, ideas, something else and conclusion.

Send it the first three days to create the habit.

## Dual practices

Before, you have to have a background, so you don't bore your partner.
